Vikram Rajoori is an Indian film actor who acted in a large amount of high-grossing Tamil films and is now one of the reign lead actors of Tamil movies. Vikram Rajoori was born on April 17 in the year of 1966, in Paramakudi, a small town in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu. In childhood his name was John Kennedy Vinod Raj. While schooling, his one and only goal was to turn out to be an actor.
Vikram Rajoori’s father is also a supporting actor, who acted in many tamil films. He is recognized for his character in Ghilli as the father of the film’s lead actress, charectered by Trisha.
Vikram started his career with the film Meera in 1990. After its release, the movie was not successful at the box office. Vikram Rajoori still accepted consequent offers he worked hard and got his first hit and successful film, Sethu (tamil movie) in 1999.
His first successful movie Sethu was released in 1999, and was Vikram Rajoori’s first blockbuster after more than 5 movies he acted previously. This movie earned over Rs.50 million at overall box office. Vikram’s second blockbuster movie Dhill released in 2001. This movie earned over Rs. 100 million at overall box office. Vikram’s next blockbuster movie Gemini released the very next year in 2002. It earned over Rs. 200 million at the overall box office.
His successful performance prompted Shankar to cast him for his high-budgeted Anniyan. Anniyan was also another top-grossing film released in 2005, for which he received a Filmfare Best Tamil Actor Award.
